Question & Answer

Why did you choose immigration law?

I chose immigration law as I come from a family of immigrants and I would not be here if my parents and grandparents did not make the difficult journey to escape from their home countries to come to the U.S. to have safer, more meaningful lives and better opportunities. Helping others achieve the “American Dream” is a rewarding experience that gives me a purpose to work within the immigration field especially when the U.S. is a melting pot of diverse groups of individuals and the U.S. has and continues to give people a second chance at happiness, such as the case for my family.

What motivates you to keep going daily?

Helping individuals to have a second chance in life in a safer country and uniting families. Additionally, it is invigorating to parse through each case like a puzzle and find a solution for each of our clients.

What has been of the recent highlights of your work?

Seeing huge smiles across our clients’ faces or even mere words of gratitude for obtaining their nonimmigrant visas, immigrant visas, Lawful Permanent Residence, or Citizenship is extremely rewarding and gives me a purpose to continue striving for each and every one of our clients.

Which cases do you most find rewarding?

Cases involving the reunification of families and victims of crime and trafficking in the U.S.

Why should people choose you instead of any other attorney?

At Law Offices of Gita B. Kapur and Associates, we meticulously dissect each of our clients’ cases in order to determine any and all possible solutions to ultimately help them in acquiring a second chance in life in the U.S. Our team upholds strong work ethic as well as transparency and honesty with each and every of our clients.

What else people should know about you?

I am of Armenian descent and upholding my roots and planting the seed of the family values I was raised with to the next generation is extremely important for me.
