Mr. Bonetati graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Trinity Law School in Southern California, The Hague, Netherlands, and Strasbourg, France, where he participated in the annual summer session at the International Institute of Human Rights. He was taught by leading academics and practitioners from around the world, and he had classmates from more than 80 countries.
Guy is passionate about advocating for his clients and committed to helping his clients achieve their immigration goals. He has a deep understanding of the complex and ever-changing immigration laws and regulations, and he is skilled at navigating the complex immigration system on behalf of his clients.
He has litigated successfully in multiple areas of immigration law such as Removal/Deportation proceedings, Cancellation of Removal, U Visas, SIJS (Special Immigrant Juvenile Status), Asylum, Withholding of Removal and Relief under the Convention Against Torture, Citizenship matters, and Appeals. Guy, has further achieved positive results in attending postconviction relief matters.
His father was the property owner and business manager of a medium-sized law firm in Orange County, California, while his mother ran her own family counseling office, separately raising him, his two brothers and sister. His mother taught him the importance of putting the client's needs first and treating every client with care and compassion. Guy values these lessons and strives to provide his clients with the same excellent service that his parents provided to theirs.
