Attorney Geoffrey Pogue received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) in 2012. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in May of 2015. Mr. Pogue is a member of the California State Bar since 2016, and is licensed to practice law in all State Courts of California as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

During law school, Mr. Pogue clerked for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office Police Litigation Unit, as well as the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office Hardcore Gang Division. Prior to law school Mr. Pogue worked for a plaintiff's litigation firm located in Los Angeles.

As an attorney at the Law Offices of Gita B. Kapur, Mr. Pogue represents clients in removal proceedings before the Los Angeles Immigration Court, as well as on appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Pogue also represents clients seeking asylum with USCIS, in gaining Special Immigrant Juvenile Status through Probate Court, and in obtaining post-conviction relief in immigration-related criminal matters.
